The first sentence of the NOA2 is, "The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the consulate listed."

Just want to make sure everyone's NOA2 has it and it doesn't mean that they have sent the petition to consulate instead of NVC. Please confirm. Thanks.

It's been 8 days since our approval but our case hasn't been sent yet. I have no updates on USCIS website. I know it will come any day. I just have to be patient. I just thought they would have sent it to NVC already. USCIS is so unpredictable (haha).

It took them 8 days to send ours - should be any day now!

Yes, that's the standard language.

Yes mine says the same thing. They will send all cases to the NVC first then they forward to the Embassy.

Hope that helps :D

Okay thank you. I was getting a little worried.

TSC breeds impatience. I've had our case # for a week so now I'm anxious for the case to be sent to the embassy! Can't wait to read those words, "In Transit."

I thought after the approval I wouldn't be waiting long from one transfer to another. I was wrong! It doesn't matter where you are in the process...waiting is the name of the game.

I didn't know that about Atlanta. Well I hope your POE will be a great one! Hopefully you wont have to wait long. Even if you did the best part is that you made it to the U.S. safe and sound!!

My honey will come in through NYC.

I have a cat too!!! hahaha

I still need my translated birth certificate and my police certificate. Other than that mostly I got about 10 pictures, ticket confirmstions and I'm wondering about Skype logs. We are having 12+ hours phone conversations haha.

To be honest most of my things were gathered after we had noa1. Even tho I knew we were at turtle service center, I wanted to be ready.

And my cat hates me lol. But it had to be done sadly

Thanks - I spoke with a lovely woman today and she said it really comes down to how much work AP has that determines how soon a file gets forwarded to an embassy.

I am sure your cat loves you..haha.

It good you started getting everything together early. I did too because I didn't want to be rushed when I got the approval I was afraid I would forget something.

I print my rebtel bill out and it shows when I called him. Plus Skype chats, and I try to print out when we called on skypes because it actually shows duration of the conversation. I do screen shots of us on Skype lol. My honey always laughs at me because I am taking pics with my phone. I want to make sure I have enough evidence, plus I have been to Ghana twice in seven months. I have around 50-60 pics I am taking with me when I go for his interview.

The Embassy in Ghana is very hard to get a K-1 visa. So many are put in AP and I want that blue slip that says visa approved!!
