Question about Joint sponsor

Hello everyone,

I am about to submit my application but encountered a problem with my joint sponsor. Since my wife didn't make enough money, we looked for one.

My friend decided to help me but in 2013 tax year he only made 10k or sth which is not enough. But he was working since March 2013 and having a steady job (>30k, estimated).

So I just wanna know if he is able to sponsor me and how to prove he is for USCIS. He already given me his pay stubs and letter of his employer. Shoukd I go ahead and send them the paperworks or patiently wait until his 2014 tax returns to come?
