I found it on the embassy's website. Just bring the appointment confirmation, the DS-160 confirmation pages and passport.

Hello posters! September 2015 filer here.. my case is currently sitting at NVC now for 17 days. I received a case number on Nov 5th and apparently its still there undergoing "Administrative Processing" (whatever the heck this means). I know its a random selection for multiple reasons not in my control, so I'm not quite freaking out yet but am getting super impatient.

I hope that I will be able to fill out my DS-160 when I visit my fiancé the first week of December, regardless of if my case is in transit to the Embassy in DR or not. I know that the police report needs to be within 30 days of interview, and the Medical 14-21 days before. We will gather birth certificates, documents, passport photos etc that can be obtained now regardless of interview date.

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

I see u they mail ur application congrants. Mine arrive Dec. 3 and has been there 15days also waiting just like urs did. its just a waiting game.

Does anyone know on average how long after getting to the NVC before case is assigned number and sent to embassy? NVC received mine today. I am hoping we can go for an interview in the next month.

Ours was 19 days from the date received at NVC to showing ready at the embassy on the CEAC site. it was at NVC around 10-12 days before a case number was assigned. You just have to keep calling to get the number so you can track it the rest of the way.

Thanks. It moved quickly. Got number on 19th. It was in transit on 22nd. Today Feb. 23rd on CEAC it showed ready so we were able to schedule all appointments! God willing he will be here for the birth of our daughter.

My fiance made the visa payment on Friday. It says that we have to wait until the follwing buissnes day at 11am to make the appointment. I want on the website and it still does not go through. I called and it said that they were closed due to a holiday. Will the payment not update on the website even though its a holiday over there and not here? I'm just getting nervous and a little bit scared that something might be wrong

Mira ya hice la ds-160, y el perfil en traveldocs y llegue al paso 8 donde me dio una clave para hacer el deposito, yo vivo en eeuu , mi pareja en RD. Yo llame al numero 703 y me dijeron que tengo que esperar. mi caso fue enviado al consulado el 28 de abril y checquie el status y dice "ready". cuando llame al numero 703----- me dicen que tengo que esperar a que me llegue una notificacion, y qu eno haga el pago todavia.

que hago? que alguien me explique? a mi parej ano le ha llegado ningun previsado, nada del consulado......

ayuda por favor.

Si tu lees bien los pasos, notaras que no hay que esperar nada del.consulado.

Para k1 ellos ya no envian carta.

Paga en el banco popular y luego vuelve al perfil en ustravel y has tu cita para el consulafo.

Luego que pagues en el banco al siguiente dia puedes hacer tu cita.

Lee bien estos pasos de este topico y veras que es sencillo.

gracias por escribirme. llame al NVC y me dicen que el consulado lee enviare un paquete a mi pareja en RD. el caso fue creado el 27 de abril, y enviado al consulado el 28 de abril. Ya van varios dias y nada. Complete la forma DS-160 y el perfil en travel docs.

estoy confundico..... chequie ceac.state.gov y dice "ready" y fue actualizdo mayo 5.

I been waiting for my passport/visa for the past 15 days. I checked CEAC and there's no updates. I also checked travel docs today and the status changed to "Document Delivery Information:" yesterday. Do you know what this means?

How are you tracking your visa?

Did you check on MBE?

Put your passport number there, it will either say its still with the embassy, preparing to leave for destination or delivered.
