Hey guys. Its Been a while but all I have to say is game, set, match and to my beautiful fiancé, bienvenido tu futuro. Our interview and approval happened today. Such a relief. She should be here in a few weeks. If you guys have any questions, I'll be posting a summary of my experiences tomorrow

Peace love and don't lose the faith!!!

Congratulations.

Congrats!! I was approved on 4/16 as well!! We made it through. But, I'm still waiting for the visa issued. I've been in Admin processing since last Friday and no change since then. Praying things move along fast for you!

:-)

It seems that the K1 Visas have been taking a bit for some people and the IR1's are being issued right away. I have a friend of mine from the DR now that is going for his IR1 in a few days at the embassy.

I can't wait to see him here. It's so much more fun having all these guys here in NYC. :)

Hey. So did everything work out with You guys? Last time we spoke you mentioned another interview. I hope things are ok. Let me know!!!

Yes - I wrote a very detailed message to the support at ustraveldocs and less than 4 days later she received her passport.

She is now here in NYC with me. :)

Omg. I thought I was just me. This is sooo frustrating. Ok all you k1ers. Question of the day... What is the average time for our fiancées to get their passports? It's so inefficient. Kind of like waiting for our NOA2's. Remember that? Seems like such a long time ago.

Thanks for the hope. I think you are right in the time frame. In my opinion, emailing the support on ustraveldocs is a complete waste of time and even more frustrating than waiting. But, if there are concerns, you have nothing to lose in an email.

Fiance's visa was issued today!!! :dancing:

That's great news to hear! I came back just to check on you so I'm happy about this notification and knew it would be soon. My fiancé has now been here over a week and it's been such an adjustment process for the both of us but now we are getting into a natural swing. It's been so nice looking at him randomly like "wow, he's really here now." It's going to be such an amazing feeling picking up your fiancé and stepson from the airport, God's timing is always perfect.

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

You are so sweet. I can't wait. I have butterflies and scared all at the same time, excited and worried about their adjustment. Praying and hoping we will all make it just fine. So happy for your reunion as well. Please inbox me more info your wedding and life after "issued". Hugs
