Hello all -

I am new here, USA/american and I have a fiance in the Philippines.
We have completed a lot of our paperwork and I have joined for input and guidance with the few things we have left.

I received an email notification (yesterday 21 Jan) that our Form I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE has been approved by the California Service Center and that the approval (?) and form I-797 are being sent to me via USPS.

I called the toll-free customer service line for USCIS this morning and they informed me that now, the package is being forwarded to the New Hampshire (international ?) processing office.

According to the representative on the phone, the last things we will need is for my fiance to have her interview at the consulate near Manila and her physical (I don't know which order lol).

So, I'm here for input, guidance, to read and to pass the time as the last of the "events" come closer.
Yes, I am ABSOLUTELY open to advice, words of wisdom, any "do" or "don't" that others have experienced, so feel free to post, comment, or drop me a line!

Thanks in advance -
Chris

congratulation!Sometimes it takes 3 weeks before you reach the nvc after uscis..so i will suggest for you to call nvc after 2 -3 weeks to get your case number to be able to move forward..once you get the sched for her interview then send all the necessary document like I-34 and all the supporting docu for that.

I DID read the guides and the forms listed there have been completed, accepted, and approved.

The forms listed under "GUIDES" are (from my computer, NOT a mobile device):

1. I-129F

2. G-325a

and they are, as posted, complete.

The previous poster (hardrockangel) mentioned an "I-34" - and there is not one listed under guides.

There is also not a form "I-34" listed with the USCIS ....hence my query to "hardrockangel" - "I-34?"

Form USCIS I-134 (NOT "I-34") has also been completed.

So once again - is there a form "I-34" (as stated by hardrockangel) that I can't find someplace?

It's a typo. Should've been I-134, as you state.
