Hank, that was the week the Typhoon blew in and they cancelled appointments on the monday and told people to come in later that week. Maybe she was one of the Monday people. I remember that week because I filed DCF on the 11th.

No her interview was the day after Typhoon. Every one that was cancelled by the typhoon was recsheduled for Friday morning at 7:30 am to 11:30 am. (K-1's) Keep in mind the US Embassy had shut down those days from pre scheduling appointments well in advance due to the possible shut down of the US Governmnet on Dec 11.

So when the government stayed open they rescheduled a whole group of people for Friday moring.

In short when I booked the appointment for Dec 10 back in November it stated on the web site that it would be first come first served after arrving for check in.

Her Commission on Filipinos Overseas interview WAS cancelled as the day she was scheduled for that Dec 9 she was to scared to leave the house due to wind and water. She will have to do COFOS in Cebu when I collect her in March

And now on the 23rd of January the status is moved from Ready to administrative processing. God I am getting really stressed out over this whole thing, I don't know what to do. The Embassy has not contacted her or me for any more information.

Hi I'm on the same boat as you. I'm on my 2nd AP. Good luck to us!

You know another way to find out if your DISAPORVED before the US Embassy up dates its web site is to go to the 2GO tracking page. The US Embassy will still return your passport via 2GO and you can track the shipment by entering either your case number or your passport number in the exact same way you were sending documents to the embassy.

SO if your showing up as a document being shipped and the US Embassy web site says Administrative Processing there might be a problem.

Her appointment was on the 10th but after that it was first come first served. After you got into the proper group for the type of interview you were scheduled for and checked in with the respective section then they called you in any order the Immigrant Visa Section choose to.

In short you could have been the last person to arrive but the first person to be interviewed. Or the first person to arrive and the last to be interviewed. My fiance was the first to show up for the day (1 am but was not interviewd until about 11 a.m.)

On jan14 we experienced something similar. We arrived at the USEM 6am for 7:30am K1 interview. Once inside our number was displayed at 7am. We went through the first 3 steps (fingerprint, pre-screening and oath) in line with the crowd. Then we were ushered to rows of seats. People with kids were ushered to the interview line. There's a small play area for the kids, but it seems like the embassy wants the kids done and out of there first. Anyway we took a seat just based on order we got done with the previous steps. We were in a mix of all types of visa types. So we weren't called by name or number to a specific window at 7:30am, but rather somewhere around 8am or so it was our rows turn to line up and then folks were ushered from that line to the next available window.

VISA approved and issued at 8:55 a.m. Monday Morning Manila time. I had checked the status just 5 minutes before and it still showed Administrative Processing . I figured I would look at it one last time before I closed my browser and it was approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Just went to 2GO Philippines to attempt to track deli every via the case number or passport number but nothing is showing up as yet. How ever this does not as yet concern me because when we shipped her updated NBI clearance to the Embassy it took 3 days or so before anything showed up in 2GO's system.

I exactly experienced the same thing when I sent my NBI. Hopefully won't take long.

Got a text message from my fiancée yesterday stating that 2GO texted her and told her they would deliver the VISA today (Thursday) in Mindanao. Still waiting for an update from her. But 2GO web site does not even list her VISA as shipped and its now Friday morning in the Philippines

No 2go status using passport number, MNL case number or UID number from interview confirmation letter barcode?

I just use MNL case number or her passport number and they have brought up no results. But as 2GO texted her yesterday to say that it was being deleived it made it from Mertro Manila to Mindenao in 4 days, not bad for the Philippines.

But you would think the company would update its tracking information considering it was handed over to them by the US Embassy on Monday morning Manila time

The passport might track with that UID number.

I went to fiancée's interview 14jan. At the USEM entrance the staff asks to see the passport, ds 160 and interview confirmation letter. Then the staff puts a small label on the outside back of the passport that had my fiancée's name on it and it might have also had that UID number. Perhaps the sticker is also used in the 2go tracking system.
