It does not need to be notarized. The only form in the process needing notarization is the I-134 used for K-1, and K-3 visa interview.

We did not notarize our letters of intent. http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Fiance...r_of_Intent.doc

my fiance is so excited to filed that petition.
we found a sample form for my hubby

Is he your fiance or your husband? If you are not married, I suggest you do NOT use the word husband otherwise you could greatly complicate your situation when it comes time for the interview.

A letter of intent does not need to be notarized and each letter can be identical. Use the example in the guide:

Using those words can lead to BIG problems down the road, especially if they believe at your interview that you are already married. I strongly suggest you stop that for now . . .

Like KitKat said, i would change ur nicknames and get used to calling each other something esle. I u mention the word asawa or have on a ring that looks like a wedding ring, it has caused issues at both the CFO and Embassy.

Try reading the K-1 Guidelines and the example forms. We used them and we have ouyr interview on 15 Feb. You relly need to go to the Foreign Embassy forum and read the 350 pages of the Manila Embassy interview thread. Ken

We did not copy anything personal except for letrters and cards. Emails and chat logs, I just did a screen capture while chattig with my fiance on cam so her pic is in the capture also. I did this once a month as only about 30 days of archives will fit on one peice of paper.

Airline boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel and ATM receipts are better proof that he actually went to the Philipines. Picture of you two in the PI is needed also. Just follow the guidelines and examples, they are pretty simple to figure out. Ken

I know how sweet it is to call each other "wifey" and "hubby". But because you're filing for Fiancee Visa, it's highly suggested that you avoid using terms that will complicate your status. I've learned a lot from hanging out here in VJ and I'm sure you will, too.

As for letter of intent to marry, it doesn't have to be notarized, just an statememt that you're both legal to marry and will get married within 90 days upon entering US. You can find a sample here... all you got to do is explore and read a lot and you'll be in good shape.

Good luck to you!

Mae

We sent 5 emails (with translations). Maybe you can send only the emails where you don't call each other husband/wife.

And I just printed the entire page and highlighted our email addresses/names/dates and anything that had to show that we wanted to get married.

We had no problems, no RFEs.

Here is a prime example why you need to stop the practice of using husband and wife until after you are really married:

Stopped at the POE and returned home, possible waiver required.

your letter of intent is not to be notarized but it should be a formal letter. 1/4 size of paper is very inappropraite.
