Embassy appointment info needed plz

Hi,

I have my interview at the U.S. embassy in London on the 27th jan. Although I think I have everything I need, is there a list of exactly what I'll need to take with me, just in case I missed something.

I don't think I've ever been this stressed!!!

Appointment letter

DS-160 confirmation

Passport: must have at least eight months validity left

Birth Certificate: must list parents' names.

Adoption Certificate: If applicable

Name Change Deed Poll: If applicable

Divorce Decree or Death Certificate: If previously married

Police Certificate (and Subject Access Report if it says "no live trace")

Court and Prison Records: If applicable

Military Records: If applicable

Photographs: one US passport style

Evidence of Support (Affidavit of Support): i-134 and one proof of income

Translations: All documents not in English

New letter of intent from USC if petition has expired.

Visa Fees: receipt from paying online

Photocopy of important documents you want back

Well take 10 or less pages of something as your security blanket. Don't stress over taking massive amounts. And go read the London reviews written by K1s. In the menu bar it says Reviews: Embassy. Click and find UK in the consulate list. If you use a phone to access VJ, then I don't know where to tell you to find them.

People describe their experience and they don't mention having to show proofs of relationship.

I have just arrived home from London...and it went perfectly!!!

I was in there less than an hour, and was approved!

Ask if we had kids, and how we met. That was pretty much it...I couldn't believe it!

When I read a few accounts on here about it being a bit of an anticlimax, I didn't think it was possible. Months of worry and stress!... But it really was. It almost felt like I'd just gone there to get a pre determined decision.

Good luck when you go....if you have the " listed docs"... It'll be plain sailing, I'm sure ?

Oh, and don't make the mistake I did, and wear steel toe capped boots, security was hectic until I realised what was causing the machine to beep...lol
