Hello all. I am trying to track Rey's TAM flight but not having any luck. It originated in Sao Paulo (Tam 8080) and is headed for JFK. Anybody know where I can track flights outside of US airspace? The TAM website doesn't seem to have anything like that...

I asked Joel about that and he suggested using http://www.flightaware.com

Hope that helps. :)

Karen, I was just wondering this a couple of days ago...does Joel remember the name of the one he gave me last time??? (Now that I've written that, maybe the search option will bring up the thread for me...DOH) Not sure, but don't think it was the flightaware..doesn't sound quite right. Was a really cool real-time site though...I loved it! :) M.

flyte.com usually tracks outside the US too

that gave me a pretty strange page...

Maybe you typed it incorrectly? http://www.flytecomm.com/cgi-bin/trackflight

These guys and most of the other ones don't track TAM flights... it's as if TAM doesn't exist!

eta: I am glad this info is out there for everyone else to use, but I am beginning to think Rey is on a magical fantasy airline with pixie stewardesses and a gnome captain...

Yay! That FlightStats one finally updated and said it was delayed 50 min but is now in flight. So that means I can relax...a little... not that I will...
