If the beneficiary does not have a S S # , then write ' NONE ' .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

also, for the A# write 'NONE ' or ' Citizen of ( whatever country ) ' because obviously you have not been issued the A # yet.

We all understand the stress indeed.

Touch means when your case has been looked at, but not been updated as such. You can check the status online when you get your case number from USCIS.

NOA1 is the notice you receive when the service center receives your petition. And NOA2 is the notice you receive when your petition has been approved :)

If your fiance has never submitted an applicaiton to the USCIS before (and been approved) then there is no A #.

The A # will however come with your NOA2 - Notice of Approval.

The NOA1 is just the receipt.

Touches sometimes mean your case will be approved, other times it just means your case has been "looked at". I received a touch when USCIS responded to my e-mail saying they DON'T e-mail. So that was nothing.

My case was touched 2 days after my application was received by USCIS and one day before I was approved, and then the next day when they sent my case off to NVC (National Visa Center).

Good luck!
