I-864 Co-Sponsorship

Hi all,

I have a quick question about our co-sponsor for the I-864. We are, of course, using the same co-sponsor that we used for the I-134. Currently, I have the tax forms from the co-sponsor for the last three years. Do I need anything else from her, like an employment letter or something? I think we had one last time, but I'm not sure what happened to it. Thanks!

You need to submit the most recent tax transcript, or complete copy of the entire return. You should also provide proof of current annual income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs. If self-employed, the last 3 years of transcripts should work. A joint sponsor also needs to provide proof of being a USC or LPR.
