I have same question.

Also, should we send NVC the Affidavit of Support, or send to my fiancé and she just brings it with her for the interview?

You dont need to wait for the mail from nvc becuase it would take time for you to receive it....

Use this link for you to track track your mnl case # https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx ... You can screenshot that link because your finace would need that for her medical at st. Lukes...

For the affidivate of support you need to scan and send it to your finace because that is one of the things she needs to bring with her during interview at the embassy.

Best of luck to all of us!

Thanks, Chaseme!

I presume the only way to obtain our mnl case number is by calling NVC (which other threads indicate requires a rather Herculean effort)? No response to that question needed if I'm correct.

Funny thing: We rely on other petitioners like ourselves to find out what we need to do and how to do it. Yet the people actually administering the K1 visa process don't seem to bother or care very much...Ironic, that.

Thanks again to Chaseme and all the other Petitioners who take the time to help out those behind them in the K1 process!

If you have some other questions or confusions you may post it here... For sure everyone will do thoer best to respond.

God bless to all of us.

No, wait until the case is at the embassy. They will send you an email with instructions on what to do.

So I was told by NVC that my case is in administrative process, does anyone know if that usually takes a long time? Should I be worried?

I've read other threads concerning NVC's "administrative process" (AP), and it's still rather a mystery to me. In fact, the whole NVC process is a mystery to me. I've asked on VJ if NVC approves or denies Petitions (just like USCIS), but haven't found an answer yet.

I've also attempted to start a thread on NVC name checks--do they do them same as USCIS? ---Do they do them on both Petitioner and Beneficiary? The thread go almost no action. Maybe I'll bump it.

Wish I could tell you more about AP, but all I can say for sure is that it causes a delay in the process. How long a delay? I don't know. Does NVC ever flat-out reject a petition? Again, I don't know.

Any input here appreciated! Best wishes to you blabrada. Keep us updated!

My petition has been in the embassy for a week now and I have not heard anything, no packet 3.. should I panic?

In the philipines, we dont need to wait for the packet 3 to arrived becuase we can just download it in the website...you check it in your country and see if you can download it too.
