NVC hard copy?

For my friend, with K-1 progressing. I have been through this, but forgot. Sorry, but NVC give him MNL number, and he asked when he would receive a "hard copy" and "I THINK" the hard copy is needed to schedule the interview," the lady said she could not say when hard copy would come, as "IT is all computer generated" but the MNL number he has.

Can anyone suggest what can be done, or should be done, OR just wait for the NVC hard copy and forward to the fiance in Philippines, to schedule the interview.
