question about the I-129f form and G-325a

Hello everyone!

I have two question. First one is on the i-129f form and on the subject "Alien Fiance Mailling Address." The thing is that her mailing address is written in laos (It's a P.O. BOX) and i was wondering should i translate it to english or keep it as is. Because if i translate it, could it be a problem when the Embassy in laos sends her documents?

Second Question is on the G-325a. At the end of the form they ask for her signature, and below it they ask to write it in her native language. well her Signature isn't in roman letters. Will they be ok? She signs the tops in her native language and she writes her name at the bottom in her language as well- is this a problem aslo?

I would assume you need to translate it as the form will not let you type non-english characters in that field. There is a place on the I-129F where you can write an address in non-roman letters. I don't beleive it is the mailing address though, I believe it is for residence address. Sorry, not much help.

Her signature is her signature. Her name in her native alphabet is her name in her native alphabet. It is written elsewhere on the form in roman characters, so should be no problem there.

You write the address exactly as you would to send her a letter. It may not make sense translated. You can transliterate it and write it, or parts of it in roman letters.

A signature can be pretty much anything. My husband's signature is not just simply his name written out in roman cursive letters. His isn't even his name. It is combo of his first initial along with some kanji characters. It has never been problem with him signing any of the immigration forms or anything else needing a signature here in the US. I believe the only thing that needs the exact full name signature is for naturalization.
