Do we need them even if we have an employment letter, pay stubs and a recent 2013 tax return? Mine and my co sponsor's w2s and 2014 tax returns might not come before we have to send all the documents to my fiance.

W-2s are necessary since they are a part of your tax returns.

If you were using IRS tax transcripts, you would not need the W-2s since that information is included in the transcript.

Send the tax returns without the W-2s and you will definitely get an RFE that will delay your case.

You have the W-2s for your 2013 tax return, right?

I have my tax transcript from the iRS website, but not the w-2, not sure where it went. I will ask my co sponsor to pull her tax transcript from the site as well. Will this be okay?

2014/10/15 : got approval (NOA2)

2014/11/12: got case number through phone to NVC

2014/11/18 : case ready in VN.

2014/11/20: submit DS 160.

Yup.

Don't need the W-2s if you have the IRS tax transcript.
