Hi-

We got our NOA1 on October 2, 2014. I recently changed jobs in the U.S., and am worried that not having my current job on our application will hurt us. I make the salary requirement in this job (and the prior one). Does anyone have an advice or has anyone else dealt with this? Should I call to make a correction?

Kind of freaking out! Thank you all.

no it would not hurt you as long as you make the income requirement you will be ok. Income requirement is not a huge factor at the USCIS. Later in the process at the interview or at the NVC ,is when the income will be needed

If you are worry that you put one job down and are working at another job now. No that does not matter either as a lot of people switch jobs.

Phew, thank you. Do you think that there will be any problems during the interview about it? If they ask him where I work and his answer (the truth) is different than what they have on record?

no because when he does interview for K-1 they will go by what is on I-134 form so your job and income at that time will be what they are looking at

it will be good if he knows where you work at before as you should know about each other. he could tell them that you are working at (company name) and that you use to work at ( company name)

Oh, okay. Don't worry, we know each other :)

I didn't realize that I could "update" my employment on the i-134 once we get the NOA2. That puts my mind much more at ease. Thank you so much for helping.
