Hi, I am the petitioner (u.s citizen). My Wife and Daughter ( 2 yrs old) are both Filipina. I've read the IR1/CR1 Visa (step by step process) but i don't know what Visa is needed for my Stepdaughter. My daughter has a NSO birth cert, Baptismal Cert, and we both of course have a marriage NSO cert. What i don't know of is what visa is needed for me ( the u.s petitioner) to file for our 2yr old Daughter.

What documents i need?

What visa i need to file?

Can i file for both visas at once?

If i file a separate visa, can i mail this in conjunction with my Wife's visa?

Any information is much appreciated, thank you so much!

You file i130 for your stepdaughter. She will be under the IR2/CR2 category. You can file the two i130 at the same time.

Follow the Guides. Look for the button at the top of this page.

You are not applying for visas. You will be filing separate -130 petitions for your wife and stepdaughter. Once the I-130s are approved, then they can apply for visas using Form DS-260.

Ultimately, your wife will get an CR-1/IR-1 visa and your stepdaughter will get an CR-2/IR-2 visa.

You can file both I-130s at the same time in the same envelop. Just be cautious and keep everything separate since these will be two separate cases.
