Yeah--I received notification today, via email, that my I129F petition has been approved.

stevo, I wasn't being sarcastic in my post yesterday. I was genuinely concerned because others from Vermont had more 'touches.' I am truly thankful and thank you for putting it in perspective.

Ding! My check was just cashed.

I-129F was received on 2/13/07, so 10-day processing time.

What format is the case number in? I can see the back of my check online, but it looks like a bad fax and has numbers all over it.

I am not sure of what you mean case number but when I received my NOA1 I got a receipt number. It looks something like this WAC-07-067-51000. Hope this helps you.

Hi -- haven't received a touch yet (sadly) but I'm the only one around the boards at this time and I've been around to learn what a "touch" means -- any time somebody at immigration does something with your case (i.e. reads it, files it, takes some action on it) they have to scan your barcode, and that shows up in the computer system. Apparently it can be a source of great frustration because people will see multiple touches on their case in any one day and then hear . . . nothing. Look for a great post by former USCIS officer huskerkiev about why this happens.

Got check cashed notification today, but like what others have experienced the numbers are not readable, they are clumped together. The process of waiting for NOA1 is agonizing already and Once we have a check cashed notification in the email, we can't read the numbers on the poor quality image. But there's this one thing is readable enough, it says "California" :girlwerewolf2xn:

However I still am glad that finally there is a progress for us. I'm hoping other February-filers here will have some good news very soon.

xoxo

Thanks, that is just the information I needed. I think I can interpolate my case number written on the check.
