Hi there all, I just would like to know if even though i have not been convicted of any crime it shows on my police check the appearance dates of court appearances and the disposition of a case. It was Dismissed and Not Guilty is the verdict due to lack of evidence. i am worrying myself silly over this, i cant see why they'd need a court record if you did nothing wrong at all, and i would be surprised even if they asked me about it. Any help would be grateful, i know my partner posted a bit ago about this and the response was that there shouldnt be any problems. Please someone set my mind at rest before i go crazy!! Thanks in advance !! Andy

I don't know how it is in England. Maybe someone in the UK forum can help with that. For us, my fiance had a DUI in 1983 in Canada. He contacted the court that he went to then and requested a certified copy of the record.

Good luck!

Just to let everyone know you can go to the Court to get a copy of the record they have of the case and the cost was £25 , but this may differ in respective areas of the U.K. In my case because it was adjourned a few times it isnt recorded on the court file they have, so the only thing that came up that they had record of was that i was dismissed and no evidence found, least i have a piece of mind now and i can relax. Thanks for the help Autumnchick .
