Hello everyone,

I have my AOS interview scheduled for next week and am making sure I have everything I need. One of the things I should have is a lease showing that me and my husband live together. However, we live with another roommate, there is 3 of us living in the appartment at the moment, and our roommate having lived in this apartment for 10 years has the lease in her name only, and is not willing to add us to the lease. So our names are not on the lease at all and I heard that it might be a good idea having her sign an affidavit saying that she has the lease, that we live with her and the reason we are not on the lease. And bring that with a copy of the lease to the interview. Any thougths on this? Also, I have no idea what that kind of document is supposed to say and look like. Any help would be highly appreciated!! Thank you!

We let my wife's dad write a letter that we where living together in his house. No lease or mortgage contract in our name. Not sure if it had any affect (didn't had an interview) but hot my AOS approved. within no time.
