I would be totally for a Rudy nomination but the GOP "base" won't nominate him.

It's more than a shoe in; as a Republican in sheep's clothing, Hillary will guarantee four more republican years.

But it doesn't matter; she won't win it in the first place. Look what happened to poor Joe Lieberman. The days of centrist Democrats (formerly known as moderate conservatives), who bend over backwards to please a right-wing electorate that will never vote for them in the first place, are over. :thumbs:

Exactly. He's too centrist and from New York which will make him unsuitable for the "base." But he could of course run as a Democrat. Or get together with Joe L. and form a party of the center...

The Democratic party no longer welcomes centrists, which is exactly why the Democratic party will lose a Senate seat from Connecticut this November :whistle: How ya like them apples?
