We are in the same boat. Visa approved verbally at January 12 interview. January 20 changed status to Administrative Processing. Now just the waiting game...

Hi,

Just curious, how did the interview end? Did they tell you that "they need to do something?"

Thanks.

Just picked up mine and my son's visa earlier. We had our interview on January 13 and CEAC updated status to ISSUED the same day.

Hope everyone else get their visas soon!

It ended with the officer stating "You are approved". My fiancee asked how long until she gets visa and he replied it will take a few days and to simply check for status updates online. He never said they need to do something, but the assumption is that they will need to do something to go from interview to the visa being delivered, an administrative and delivery process. He was deliberately vague with his reply cause no one really seems to know how long it takes from the interview until the visa is delivered, and they do not want to promise anything either.

I think if you have kids the USEM processes your visa faster. My observation when I went to my fiancées interview last week was that everyone with a kid got ushered to the front of the line, everyone else took a seat. Those with kids probably get their passports to the visa making machine first as a result.

Congrats!!

Did you say there is no status on USTRAVELDOCS? If not status there, that usually means your package is ready for 2GO or they already have it.

Hi Hank, for my wife's status on USTRAVELDOCS, we get this message after typing in the passport:

Passport Status : There is no status update available for the passport number submitted

So this means 2GO has my wife's passport already?

Was your previous status update "Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate"?
