DS-160 Application Receipt/Petition Number - please help

Hello everybody,

on the DS-160 they ask for an Application Receipt/Petition Number. It says 3 letters and 13 characters in total. My question, do they refer to the Receipt Number from the Petition? Because I also have a Case Number which has the same formatting from NVC. Which one do they want to have?

I used my LDN case number but I have also heard of people using the number written on the NOA2 with no issues

Receipt number is the one on your NOA2, so for example SRC (if you're texas) ... you CASE number is also three letters but it is always referred to as the case number
