Is it suggested to send Affidavit of Support and IV Package togaether.

Hello, I Just my DS-261, and i paid my Affidavit of Support fee and I am waiting to receive billin for the IV fees. I Read the it is suggected to send the AOS Package together with the IV package to the NVC.

-get case number and IIN, give email addresses over

-complete the online DS-261

-pay the AOS bill, once it's invoiced

-pay the IV bill, once it's invoiced

-complete the online DS-260

-submit both packages together

-respond to any checklists, if applicable

-get case complete

-get interview date scheduled

-case is sent to embassy/consulate

That makes sense so that NVC does not have to locate and join the 2 seperately mailed packages. Can anyong confirm that this id probably the best method. Thank You!!

The reason for the old flowchart was so people understand that the AOS fee and IV are not linked in anyway ither than both need to be paid to complete the process.

The IV and AOS packages are also not linked but yes, the NVC wants them sent together. You can send both after payimg the AOS or after paying both the IV and AOS. I have seen the former be a little quicker.
