Chat logs forDCF I-130

I am starting to print out my chat logs from Facebook and Skype dating back 18 months as backup to my I-130. I didnt realize how many pages it is! Skype was around 500 pages, but Facebook was 6254 pages and 125,000 posts. I would probably need a dumptruck to bring all those pages to the embassy. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might condense what I need to show them? I have printed out our first 2 days chat on Facebook and it alone was 55 pages.

Thanks!

I have come to know from other VJ members' experiences that the officers rely more on photographs with your spouse and family photographs. You can also bring the boarding passes that you used to visit each other. The chat messages are less reliable as they could be edited. But you can include that too. Just select few interesting pages over the years and print them but try to restrict the whole chatting record to 30-40 pages. That is for your satisfaction of mind. Most of the times the VO will even not look at the chat records. Bring lots of photos in a family album. Most of the time they ask questions like who is next to you? Where the photo was taken and on what ocassion. Don't worry too much about the evidences. Just stay calm and you will do just fine. Best of luck. :)

Thanks RIT. I have not yet met her mom and dad so we dont have any pictures of them. Hope that isnt a problem, but we have been together 18 months.

I don't think that will be a problem. Collect photographs both of you together at different locations as much as you can. Boarding passes and hotel bills also helps. Have chat logs around 50 pages. You will be fine. Wishing you luck. :)

I am assuming you seek C R 1.

They will not review this evidence. Would you read it? Keep in mind they work on about 700 cases per month.

Married is married so they don't need a mountain of proof to grant the visa. In our case we submitted almost nothing other than a marriage cert. There were few questions.
