Well.. It didn't go as I wanted... they didn't APPROVE the VISA!!! They asked her for the "CERTIFICADO MIGRATORIO".. and we didn't have it. They also asked her sum questions about the Taxes... and well she couldn't answer thgem. So they told her to get the "CERTIFICADO MIGRATORIO" and get another appointment. I will be attending the next interview with her.. cuz I think it's pretty stupid to ask her about my taxes if she doesn't even have a clue about what a W2 is!!

Well another hurdle to jump guys!! But this time I will be present for the interview and hopefully it gioes well then!!!

THANX FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!! I will keep updating!!

Sorry to hear that man.... Good luck on the next one!

It will be a good idea to be there with her, and it goes to show how many of the recommendations on this site are useful...

1. Be there with them if at all possible.

2. Get ALL the paperwork listed in Packet 4.

3. Make sure the Beneficiary has a copy of everything you submitted during the process and understands all of it, whether you attend the interview with them or not.

Keep in touch on here and let us know when the next one is scheduled!

Sorry to hear about this. Sounds like they just need the Certificado Migratorio and the question answered about the taxes and then hopefully everything will be good to go. I hope you guys get an interview scheduled promptly. I am confident that with good supporting evidence and also you being there to answer the tax questions that the next interview will be a success. Keep us updated and hang in there.

Sorry to hear that but atleast with their actions it seems their intent is to get more information rather then a denial. If they at all wanted to deny you they would not call you in for a second interview. So I hope with all my heart that you have a good and successful second interview.

Goodluck!

Im really sorry to hear that... And wiht all my heart I wish the next time you get it!

Just wonder why the asked for Certificado Migratorio to ur wife.. she has traveled out of the Colombia? Cause I remember when Brad posted a question about it, my husband told him that my friend (a guy who works with the DAS Extranjeria) said that the only way they ask for Certificado Migratorio is if she has been out of the country..

Anyway Brad and Vicky didnt get it for the interview and everything was ok Thanks God for them, so I just wanna make sure in case I need to get it too! I think is the best just in case..

And about the taxes, what kinda question they did to ur wife? Thats weird.. Did u have the form W2 and 1040? Did she has the authenticated copy of your Affidavit of Support?

Please keep us update and thanks so much ...

I really wish the best for the next time guys!

Best regards,

Irene
