Hello to everyone!

I am writing because I am terribly stressed…Ive been reading some timelines of people doing the AOS.

We sent our application on January 5th, through express mail and It got to Chicago on January 6th. It was delivered.

Today is January 17th and the checks haven't been cashed and we haven't received any NOA or anything. I don't know if this is even normal anymore…Ive called to the USCIS but a very rude woman said "its too early" and hung up the phone on me. I know is not too early because I see most people getting checks cashed and receiving their noas before.

The only thing i can think of is that we sent it express mail to the US postal address instead of the express mail address….but it was us postal service who told us to do it…I don't know. can someone help me with some information please? I am desperate.

Thank you very much!

Don't stressed too much,i had the same issue when we sent our AOS packet, the lady told me that maybe in my area there is back log while the other area they dont have backlog or something,it took for me about 3 weeks before they cashed the check and received e notification from them..give them few more days and start to call them again if you still dont get any response from them.goodluck Edited by hardrockangel
