Did you send over the forms he will need for his interview? Like the I-134? I sent the I-134 plus my tax returns, pay stubs, and an employment letter. Also send an updated letter of intent to marry. I also send more chat log stuff as evidence of relationship. Some people send the whole application as well. The most important things are they-134 and letter of Internet to marry. He will need these for the interview.

It shouldn't be too big of a deal if the letter is signed a month or two before the interview. I think the biggest thing is they just want to make sure you're still on board and will still get married.

I sent the most recent three months paystubs. I wasn't exactly sure either how much to send. I think a few months is good enough evidence to prove you have steady income. That plus a letter should be strong evidence.
