Hi,

There is nothing you or your fiance can do to get visitor visas for his family.

They apply for visitor visas through the U.S. Embassy. They will be evaluated based on their ties to the home country in overcoming the presumption that all visitors intend to immigrate.

There is nothing you or your fiancé can do to influence things.

They have to apply for a tourist visa for each member. Invitation letter about the wedding that many people have tried before, it won't make easier B-2 visa approval.

Each family member will have to prove to the satisfaction of the US consular official at the interviewing US embassy/consulate, that they have significant ties to Jamaica such that they would return to Jamaica after their US visit is completed. Such ties could include, property, house ownership, current stable employment, etc. Each visitor visa applicant is presumed to have immigration intent, and must prove that they are not trying to immigrate to the US. A letter from a doctor, any documents from you, or any other invitation-type letter would likely have no positive effect on the visitor visa approval.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Also, Jamaica's visitor visa appointments have a 2 month waiting list. As of November, they were making appointments for March/April. If your family is trying to come to the wedding, they need to complete their documents, and pay for the visa so they can schedule their appointments.

A friend of mines did this last year. Her lawyer wrote a letter to the embassy with each person name she wanted to attend the wedding, role they were playing in her wedding if any. Be specific about the date, location and time of the wedding, when exactly they were planning to visit the US and when they were planning to leave. They went in as a group and I was surprise that all 4 of them got there visa. The reason I said that was one of them prior to that was refuse her visa because she always spend the exact 6mths on it and she was doing this for years. But like they said I don't know what ties they had to Jamaica.
