I'm not sure how to upload a picture of the 221G but he sent me a picture of it and it says the medical is missing, bring that and a copy of the letter and his passport. Would it still work if we got another medical that he took himself and the refusal letter with his passport to the embassy himself?

The medical examination has to be made by a doctor approved by the embassy.

OMG that's GOOD news! This means you are not denied! There are documents missing and you need to submit the medical!

Was the doctor that you used authorized by the embassy? If so, you should bring it to their attention what happened! But also, you said that the embassy confirmed they had the medical already?

Why not? Men get abused too. Sure he should probably have gotten a MAWA pamphlet but I'm pretty sure the basic message is the same.

Men also get drivers licsenses but CASA doesnt just hand out driver's ed tests....thanks for the info though.

OP good news that you can get your medicals again ...My husband went with the lady doctor (twice) and never had an issue.

And it should not be more than....400 dirhams unless there are additional tests needed.

Inluv. I don't really get the comparison between driver's ed and domestic abuse.... And only CASA I know used to make airplanes.

UPDATE: We received a call from the embassy early this afternoon stating that the medical had been received, and the visa was approved pending my finace's ability to pass 4 drug tests every 3 months for the next year. I'm so humiliated and he is very ashamed. . .

So there was a problem with his medical going from your previous posts.

Either he admitted prior drug use on the form or to the doctor verbally or it showed in his blood/urine test.

If he says he does not and never used drugs then there may have been a mistake made by the doctor/embassy but this would be highly unlikely.

However, false positives do happen for some odd reason and samples can get mixed up.

As stated before you can do a FOIA to find out exactly what his medical says but he has to sign the release form, for privacy reasons they will not

disclose that to you unless he has signed and agreed to it. If the FOIA says his medical is clear then I would contact the embassy again with the FOIA

results.

The WHY is for you to search out now.

At least it was not an outright denial and if he shows negative results for his future tests then he will get the visa.

Sorry to hear that, at least he was approved but sorry by the drugs test that ban him by a year.

I'm still not getting this whole soap opera and yeah i said opera let's call it like it is and stop trying to be PC. bottom line is he failed his medical because he is, not was, is using "the real" drugs. you say you been with him for three years yet you did not realize he has, not had, but does have a drug problem, stop with the all kumbaya let's all hug by the campfire stuff, it is what it is he failed and he knew he would fail going into the medical. I would say count your blessings that it only got a one year delay but you and him need to have a real serious talk about his problem and you need to decide if you can roll with the unknown as far as his drug problem is concerned

Well side note for future people using this post as a reference, Imad himself wasn't actively smoking marijuana himself but had trace amounts from second smoke as several of his family members and nearly all of his friends smoke it. We talked about him refraining from smoking it, but he ignored my instructions to avoid it all together. Hopefully someone else can avoid the same mistake he made. . . .

I never attacked you, just the situation...second hand weed smoke...cmon we are not teenagers in hs explaining to our parents why we smell like weed....far from a troll, but your in denial, but love makes us all do crazy things and put blinders on...end of the day, I wish you the best. can someone confirm that a fiance visa has a expiration date/time limit as I am sure that it is less than one year from approval date.

sooooo, if this visa has been "approved" but has to wait a full year with clean test results, will the fiance visa expire and the OP must re-file?
