Hello all,

I've been uner AP since early December and the officer promised me to completer the process in less than one month since she saw I have a job offer in one of the prestigious companies. Now 6 weeks passed and I heared anything back. As I have a job offer in the US and the start date is coming soon, how can I make the consulate to speed up the process? Will it work to get a letter from company and pass to consulate? How much can I rely on officer's words and promise?

There is absolutely nothing you can do to make AP go faster; the officer who "promised" to complete the process within a month was, at best, mistaken, and at worst, lying, when he said that. He cannot make it go faster, you cannot make it go faster, no one can make it go faster.
