Exemption of entry visa to Vietnam

The following situation will have visa exemption to Vietnam:

1. Passport holders from Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos will have visa-free entry to Vietnam for a stay not exceeding 30 days.

2. Passport holders from Philippines will have visa-free entry to Vietnam for a stay not exceeding 21 days.

3. Passport holders from Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia and Finland will have visa-free entry to Vietnam for a stay not exceeding 15 days.

4. Passport holders from Brunei will have visa-free entry to Vietnam for a stay no more than 14 days.

5. Passport holders having diplomatic passport from French or valid official passport will have visa exemption to Vietnam could stay in once time or several times with a total staying time should not exceed 90 days within 6 months from the date of first entry.

6. Citizens having diplomacy passport from Chile or valid official passport will have visa exemption to Vietnam for a temporary residence duration not exceeding 90 days.

7. People with APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) of the member states of the Asia - Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) could have Vietnam visa exemption for a period of residence is not more than 60 days.

8. For visitors to Phu Quoc Island - Vietnam: Foreigners and Vietnam citizens with foreign nationality come to Vietnam through an international border gate then travel to Phu Quoc Island and stay there less than 15 days will be exempt from visa. Passports must be valid for at least 45 days. After arriving in Phu Quoc, if tourists want to visit other locations or stay in the island more than 15 days, Vietnam Immigration Department will grant visa for tourists at Phu Quoc.
