Thanks for your reply... yes it will be 6 months exactly on January 29th.

Not sure if call USCIS and asking for a Tier two is enough or getting an appt through the info pass...

His work permit expires in June 25th so I'm starting to worry.

It can take up to a year to get GC.

Does that mean that we have to re-apply for his work permit or they extend it? Not sure what steps to take if this process took longer than the date given on the permit...

This is all I get! :( Fingerprint Fee Was Received

On April 12, 2014, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number . Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to; to give us your new mailing address.

Mine stayed in Acceptance until they processed GC. Do you still have envelope that EAD came in? It discusses renewal.

Yes I have it but I wanted to get advice from someone that probably went through the same thing.

We have an appt on the 30th God willing they can give us some help with the info pass appt here in our state locally.

Thanks!

There are a lot of people in your situation. I filed in March and also got the Interview Waiver letter in July, still no GC. Recently there have been a couple of people who got the IWL in July who have been sent the GC, but there are also a lot of people who got the IWL in June still waiting. They are dripping through soooooo sloooooowly and barely anyone receives the GC in the 6 month timeframe.

You can try filing a service request but it's pointless. Join us in the thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/452854-notice-of-potential-interview-waiver-case/page-67instead to vent at how frustrating it is.

Hello Fellow VJ'S

I don't know why it's taking so long.

I haven't been on here for a while.

I think everyone with a NPIW letter dated 07/29/14 is still waiting. I called and spoke with an immigration officer yesterday and was told that USCIS expected a 6 month delay but in all reality the delay can be up to a year. So all we can do is wait and pray for a miracle.
