NVC Civil Docs Checklist after 60 days waiting, how long again???

Hello everyone! Im back.

Just want to see if anyone is experiencing the same thing as I am. I applied for my mom's petition in July and now its at NVC. After 54 days of waiting, NVC sent me a checklist for copy of marriage certificate of the petitioner which is me.

I am pretty sure I sent this document eventhough they did not request for it as part of my supporting documents. I should also be included on the packet NVC received from USCIS correct? I am just a little frustrated and feel like NVC is just looking for small issues or just make up things to prolong the process (I hope not).

I received the checklist last MOnday and called NVC to request for a SUpervisor review, so they did. Also at the same day, I sent the documents they requested and called the next day to check if they received it. They told me maybe 1-2 weeks review for the Supervisor.

I called Wednesday and asked again, the REP said 42 days and hung up on me! DOnt they know we wait almost an hour over the phone!?

I called again today, they told me they received the document and I need to wait 60 DAYS AGAIN for the mail to be reviewed! MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS! BUt I asked if the request for Supervisor's review is still on, and she confirmed yes. I asked what will happen now? SHe said, well, if the SUpervisor reviews it first and finds out that the document missing is actually in there, it will be completed and will schedule for interview. But no guarantee how long! The mail will wait 60 days...

DOes anyone experiencing the same thing?? Help PLease....... I am so desperate for my mom to be here.

Hi... sorry to hear that. Requesting the supervisor review doesn't really work (sometimes). You still have to wait for 60 days. I desperately want my mama here, and got checklist 2 weeks before my 60 days. Worse thing is that I knew it over the phone and got the checklist email after 4 weeks. Now my 60 days will be over again in 2 weeks. Hoping for CC soon.

It took us 53 days from the scan date for our checklist to get a CC. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

We have the same issue.we have submitted everything last jan 20,2015 but we still got AOS checklist.I called NVC today and told me to wait for another 60 days to review our case.we already waited for 60 days and they responded with a checklist!i am 100% sure that we submitted everything and why are they still asking to send those documents again..reason why we hired for an atty to make sure everythings filed correctly.I dont understand why NVC doing this to us! I was hoping my husband would be here before my delivery this coming May4, now im just losing hope.im so stress and feel so frustrated.cant help myself but to cry thinking why this is happening to us..this is not what i expected from NVC.

Lets hope for the best.
