My husband and I has been married since last year but we were so busy we didn't notice the time has passed by faster than we thought. Now we are gathering all the requirements, we want to send it my mail but we don't know where to send it. Please help, we live in Colorado, don't know if there's a consulate here or none.

You send ROM to the consulate that represents the area where you live. For Colorado that appears to be San Francisco

Actually you file at the Consulate that represents the location where the marriage took place (contracted), which might be different than where you live.

Using the LA Consulate as an example....

The Consulate can only undertake the marriage registration process if the marriage took place within in its jurisdiction, i.e., Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. For marriages outside of its jurisdiction, the Report of Marriage must be filed with the Philippine Embassy or Consulate which exercises jurisdiction over the place of marriage. ONLY marriages contracted in the following places can be registered or reported at the Philippine Consulate General, Los Angeles, CA: (1) Southern California; (2)Southern Nevada; (3) Arizona; (4) New Mexico; and (5) Texas

Hello Mr, Hank. I just want to ask, like in my case, we got married in South Carolina but now we are living in California, what Philippine Consulate should we report our marriage? Does it depend on what state we got married? Or the state where we currently living? Thank you so much in advance for your answer, Mr. Hank. Will really appreciate your answer. :-) Thank you again.

For ROM it is where you were MARRIED (that one post was an  on my part), so it is the consulate that represents SC.

You must file your ROM with the Wash. D.C. Consulate because you were married in SC. They have jurisdiction over SC.
