An international darts tournament in Melbourne, Australia, devolved into complete chaos on Saturday when spectators started a brawl in the stands. Unlike the sharp-tipped darts the competitors were throwing at the Darts Invitational Challenge at Etihad Stadium, however, at least the plastic chairs and tables the spectators hurled at each other were blunt.

The ruckus began around 9 p.m. local time when a “small group of people started chucking chairs at each other,” according to eyewitness Joel Yeowart, 19, who spoke to The Herald Sun. The melee was then sustained by mass drunkeness.
