Case transferred to decision department

Timeline

It's been 8 months post my interview, and yesterday I called the Customer center and spoke with an L2 officer. He told me my case was just transferred to the department for decision. Has anybody encountered this before? Your input will be highly appreciated.

hello,

Sorry this is coming very late...After more than 3months i checked my status online and my case was approved on February 27th. i got an approvail mail and welcome notice 4days after and on March 7th i got my Greencard delivered to me by the post office...So happy and i really thank God for this...Cheers!
