Blue Slip.

When you get the blue slip, say, asking for a 1722 tax transcript, does your fiancee finish the interview process? I mean, you give your documents first, then you wait for the actual interview. After you give your documents, do they say, 'Stop, you need to get your 1722 before you can continue,' or do you continue on as normal, then find out later after your final interview?

they asked all things related to jobs of both, asking for pay stubs, employment agreement, w2, 1040, mortgage, retirement plan, bank letter.... and finished the interview with blue handed. she asked that W2 showed the income over the poverty line, why we need submit 1722 and they say they want to see net income of petitioner. Thats suck!

We didn't receive a blue slip in our case, but it has been my understanding that this happens when the interview is finished.

We got a blue slip when she had her interview. They will complete the entire interview and at the end they will either give you the pink slip or a blue slip stating the evidence requested.

I dont even think the Net income is on a tax return. I guess you could do some subtraction...I think they just may want to see the 1722 because it's harder to fabricate.

Is the 1722 the same as tax transcripts? I am sending the past 3 years worth... Somebody know the answer to this please?

A search for that type of document 1722 on the IRS site only brings you back to tax transcripts. Regarding the tax transcripts there's a complete record of everything as you may know and that is available for 35 $ and there's the tax transcripts as typically used by mortgage companies and that comes at no charge. That's what I requested and that's my understanding of what is needed.
