Since you two poosies won't take a stab at it, I will say I can't entirely agree with this decision. If they could really prove he was suffering from PTSD, he should not have been executed. This is a lack of the government taking care of the people that serve them. Our government sucks when it comes to taking care of it's citizens and this is a prime example of how they failed this man.

I agree, but even without the PTSD, capital punishment should be a thing of the past. But it astonishes me how many people are executed every year that either have PTSD, are mentally retarded etc, Hell it astonishes me even when they aren't executed but get an insanely long prison term when it's obvious that while they may not be the safest people to be around in public, they belong in a different type of institution.

There are prisons that are both prisons and medical facilities. That is a non-issue. Matter of fact, many would suggest prisoners are already over-medicated, to make them easier to handle. The people that usually commit capital crimes are not well adjusted individuals. That should be a given. Whether or not you execute them and whether or not that is a deterrent, these are not the people society in general wants running around free.

I agree up until people who do things to babies need to be burned at the stake.

Mentally challenged and PTSD people need to be in institutions that rehabilitate them, not look at these people, take state money and do nothing.
