on the letter from the NVC, it lists required documents that need to be brought to the interview at the embassy.

do I need to still bring documents that are coded as: "The NVC has sent this form the the US embassy or consulate"

all documents were obtained within the last 6 months including police clearance and financial evidence.

its a bit confusing because they also say we need to bring them with us but we sent originals to the NVC that they sent to the embassy.

I strongly suggest that you have a complete copy of everything you have sent to the NVC (IV Financials and Civil Documents), they lost 2 documents that my wife had to produce at the interview, namely her Birth Certificate and 1 Divorce Decree, these need to be Certified Copies. Read our Consulate Review.
