Follow the guides: http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn

You could have gotten a SSN 10 days after arrival, before or after marriage. At this point you might need to wait untill you have your EAD card since your I-94 is only good for 90 days, but you can give it a try.

Just got my I-94 last week through electronic copy and it says it will expire on May 30 this year.. The problem is my fiAncee visa was expired.. Do you think I'm still capable to get ssn? And what are the requirements I need to bring? Thank you

Your K1 visa expired the moment you arrived in the US and were process at your POE. You should be fine. Check out informative link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/513513-recommended-update-information-for-ssn-application/

Good luck on you immigration journey.

As far as my K1 was concerned. I was given 90 days upon arrival to get married. So on the I-94 it should just be 3 months. so if you arrived 3 months ago like what you said in your previous post, then your I-94 must be expired already 3 months after your POE. - I am just not sure why you said your I-94 will expire on May of this year. Correct me if I am wrong, maybe there's changes on the expiration of the I-94 ( other than the change from paper to electronic ) I am not aware of as opposed to the I-94 when I came here in the US (2011 ).

Your I-94 is expired. You need to wait until you have your EAD or green card before you can apply for the SSN card. Yes, you will need to file for your AOS first.

The expiration date you are seeing, is the expiration of the form itself...NOT the expiration date of your particular I-94. The expiration of your I-94 will be 90 days from the date you entered the US.
