When what you're doing to someone shows a clear lack of compassion in favour of blind doctrine I don't see how you can reasonably describe yourself as Christian anymore.

We need to be very careful, because if you're going to cite the apocrypha to justify hate and bigotry, even if at a rational level, you're going to open a can of worms.
