People are free to make their own choices but to try and force the church to go against it's own doctrine is asinine at best. Some religions and some people don't agree with men and women who have sexual relationships with the same sex. Some people don't think that's natural and it even sickens some. Not all people of course. Personally I find two men giving each other oral sex anything but natural.

It says straight up on the Holy Bible what Gods feelings are towards homosexuals. There is no grey area about it ...it's black and white. People make their own choices. Some people have a "tendency" toward consuming large amounts of alcohol. That is not the problem, they are still our brothers.

Hate the sin, love the sinner. That is the "Christian" way.

Followers of the Pope can go one better - you can get drunk and have all the gay sex you want, then go confess your "sins" to a priest, be forgiven, if you are truly repentant, and still have crackers and wine on Sunday.

When what you're doing to someone shows a clear lack of compassion in favour of blind doctrine I don't see how you can reasonably describe yourself as Christian anymore.
