How long to be invoiced for IV Fee?

Hi All,

I have paid the AOS Fee (last Thursday) and have yet to be invoiced for the IV Fee. As far as I can tell, we cannot start filling out the DS-260 until both fees have been paid. I'd really like to finish the application ASAP (for obvious reasons) and am confused why I can't just fill out the application and send?

How long does it take to be invoiced for the IV Fee?

Anyone experienced something similar or have any words of advice?

We paid the AOS fee on January 2nd. Last night I called NVC to inquire if the DS 261 had been accepted into our case file yet and asked when the IV fee might become available. She said she was going to move things along for us and said we should receive notification in the next 5 -7 days that the IV invoice would be made available for payment. Well, we got that notification today - less than 24 hours later! Try giving them a call, maybe you'll have the same luck. I can't fill in the DS 260 yet however - we need to wait a few days more for CEAC to show that they processed our IV payment first.

Just a reminder, they are still saying it takes them approximately 60 days to review your AOS and civil documents that you need to submit as well. Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

I paid AOS on 19 December and got the bill for IV on Jan 7.

For us it took almost exactly a month (AOS bill paid beginning of December, IV invoice received beginning of January).

until about 3 days after

the DS-261 is detached and attached to the casefile at NVC.

I called and told her my aos shows paid and i filled out the first form ,she asked for my birthdate and said hold on , seconds later she said ok its done you should receive a email in 5-7 days .. might be less of course.. I would call

It took 2 months for our IV fee to appear :/.

How long? Normally 30-40 days from DS-261 submission.

AOS and IV fees are not attached together and have nothing to do with one another other than they are both needed to complete the case.
