and she dont have a middle name on her birth certificate. on her birth certificate its blank. Should i gave her middle name first before i file? Or just put NONE on the I-130 form is fine? She is 16 years old, she is my illigitimate child and she is born out of wedlock, and is it true that in Philippines, if the parents of the child did not get married before the child is born, the child really have no middle name on her birth certificate?

No, It's okay :).. I am having trouble on getting my son a passport because he has a Middle name on his BC, the LCR told me that because he is illegitimate he should not have MY middle initial because it will make him MY BROTHER.

An illegitimate child having the mother's middle and last name will not mean they are siblings. An illegitimate child may have a middle name (mom's) or not. It's entirely optional. My son was previously illegitimate too and he has my middle and last names on his BC and it wasn't an issue when he immigrated here in the US.

Your daughter not having a middle name will not be an issue. Don't worry.

Just leave the middle name blank. If you put none they might think that "none" is her middle name. Lol. They will see her BC anyway and they will know that she doesn't have a middle name.

That is what the LCR and NSO told me... It wont be an issue for the US... but you know how Philippine government works :).. been dealing about this since November :).. Takes 3 months to get his BC corrected.. luckily it's not that expensive. Middle names serve to identify the maternal lineage or filiation of a person as well as further distinguish him from others who may have the same given name and surname as he has. There is nothing in our laws or custom that allows a child to adopt the middle name of his mother as his own middle name.

Hahaha. You're right. Philippine government has it's "own" ways. ;)
