k I appologize then. It's just that I avoid posting too much on OT, because Charles and I wind up talking to each other, not on purpose, it happens. He's at work and I'm home. We're both bored. And 'last time this happened we had a bunch of people jumping on us like we're here just with the intent to irritate them.

So anyway, back to the topic, could you tell us if you used any help like those patches? Nicoderm or something?

I hit it with every weapon I could find. I am still on the Wellbutrin, I use the patch and I have nicorette gum to kill a sudden craving. I have stopped with the nicorette gum and switched to Juicy Fruit and I only wear the patch at work now. At home I am cool without anything.

It's been 10 weeks now since I stopped smoking! I still get a craving now and again when I smell a ciggy but for the most part I am able to ignore it. At least I don't walk around all day thinking about it any more! I think in the last few weeks I have reached a break-over point. I went from thinking about smoking "just one" to not thinking about it at all! WOOT! I really hope this is it for me!

Luz and I have never been together without my smoking habit. She has always told me she likes my natural smell. I hope she still thinks that when she gets a whiff of me "au natural". We shall see.

Sweetie,I always love you and I like your scent whether you stink or smell like a baby..Thank you for all the effort to stop

smoking,I know and i see how hard it is for you(and for me,your so cranky arrg! :D ) but still you really think its about time to

quit..

It is not just for me(and Robin) but for yourself who will have all the benefits of it!

Can't wait to have you again my baby!! :luv:(L)

Good job. It's alot of hard work but I'm sure you can already see some benefits and will continue to see more as time passes.

:)

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

:dance: That is a major achievement and it gets better, so keep it up , you will feel the benefit and your bank balance certainly will. Mind you, in saying that I don't know how much cigarettes are in the US over here in the UK they are around the £5.50 mark and anyone who willingly pays that just to literally burn it, must be mad

Congrats Gary, fantastic

Gary....

I am so proud of you for quitting smoking. It is something that I know I need to do but I just can't seem to get there yet. But, I'm only 28 yrs. old and I'm already starting to get the "smokers cough." It's so disgusting!!!

I've smoked pretty consistently since I was about 14 yrs. old and it's really catching up to me. I hope to have your strength someday. I wish you all the best.
