Yep - it is true - the beloved Canadian CoffeeCrisp chocolate bar will soon be available in the US! Read all about it here! (Now, if we can focus our attention on getting a Tim Horton's in Atlanta, everyone . . . .):-)!

Tim Horton's are great! There are 2 within a mile of my home here in Rochester NY.

Another place I enjoy is Waffle Houses, pity the closest one is in Ohio. You in Atlanta have the pleasure of a Waffle House on every corner.

actually, we seem to have to have 2 on every corner - one each side of the Interstate exits even if they are only a mile apart. And then there are the lone Waffle Houses along a city street - no Interstate nearby! There are almost as many Waffle Houses here as there are donut shops back in Ontario!

Yep! that is why I mentioned the Waffle House! I used to drive for a trucking company that had a terminal in Jonesboro GA, there was a WH at the interstate exit, and one about 1 mile down the road in the direction of the terminal.

Mel loved coffee crisp, he tried one when he was here.

I love Cracker Barrel- I have seen them all through Louisiana and Florida. I assume they are all over.

Yep Cracker Barrel is a nice place too, 1 on the south side of Rochester near the interstate, they are all over, though not like Tim Horton's or Waffle House.

Its been here nearly a year already! Where ya been Kath?

I saw it announced several months ago on Canuck Abroad, then I found them here in a gas station convenience store down the road from me. I don't particularly like them, but strangely it was nice to see them, and I bought one each for me and hubby. I think I've had one or 2 since.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

I guess I hadn't seen the announcement then, and I noticed that they have even been sighted within 15 miles of where I live - don't have to go downtown, just over to Fayetteville - to find one:-). I do like coffee crisps - and aeros and mirage bars too:-).

I dont have a choco bar fetish, so have not really looked, can u get Big turk here in the USA??

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
