Packet 3 for CR1 Singapore - express mailed or normal post? Do we have to redo CoC / police certificates?

Hello VJers,

I've been trying to find a P3 detailed check list for Singapore for CR1 interview but haven't had much luck. Two questions:

1. Was it express mailed to you? We just moved - if it's normal post it goes into a mailbox shared with our downstairs neighbor in which case they can help pick it up for us; if it's express/registered mail that requires a signature that will be a problem...Anyone remembers? Any suggestions what we can/should do?

2. Police certificates - I have already submitted all my originals in the IV package which should be on its way from NVC to the embassy now. I read that it is part of the Packet 3, do we need to redo them (going to the Police Cantonment again?!) or just copies of what we submitted are enough?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hayley

Hello,

1) Packet 3 will sent via normal mail

2) Just make sure your PCC is within 6 months period during your actual interview date, you are required to get a new PCC if is more then 6 months during your interview date. When you received your packet 3, you may indicate origianl PCC had sent to NVC via IV package and bring your photocopy during your interview.

Hope this help

Just got more details from NVC - turns out CoC / Police certificates need to be within a year, not six months. Just putting it here in case some other VJers might be looking for information later.
