I am also calling them right now. I had to keep redialing and redialing. My call made it thru after 7-8 mins. I'm still on hold. Its been 30+ Mins.

Edit: I was finally able to get the agent on line after about 35 mins.

NVC receives tons of calls every minute. It is very normal for the phone line to disconnect almost 95% of the time. Just keep redialing and eventually you will be able to get hold of them.

I call the NVC couple of times a week and the average wait time is 30 minutes.

They changed their phone system on Monday (the 12th). I think that might have something to do with it. I've been calling them since September and today was the first time I've been disconnected like you described. Maybe they've just eliminated the chance at getting a busy signal. I got through only after 3 attempts today (versus the normal 15-30 times). Not sure if that was just due to luck or the new system.

No case Number yet. The guy I spoke to seem kind of rude. He told me that it is taken 20 to 30 days(before when I call it was 30 to 42 days) from date of

receipt. and that it has only been 15 days for me. I got the impression that he thought I was wasting his time and that I should not be calling yet
