Our case status changed to RFE today (on the I-485). I think it is related to the medical exam/vaccination records - but we will see. Hopefully we'll get the RFE letter next week.

go to www.uscis.gov then lick check your status and enter your receipt number on the next page

Hi everyone! We filled and mailed my I-485 and EAD on Jan 16, we received the notification by text on Jan 26 and the hard copies on Jan 30.

Yesterday we got the biometrics letter dated on Jan 30 and scheduled for Feb 20...

I have a question, I want to travel to Laredo Tx. ... at Laredo airport you need to cross for inmigration point but at this time my I-94 is expired so I dont know if I will have problems to return home :/

Today Status changed to RFE. Now waitng for hard copy to find out what is it!!

Had my biometrics yesterday, and my case status has changed to a RFE. Probably for our original marriage certificate, as I only sent a photocopy. We will see!

Have either of you received the RFE notice yet? I also got an RFE email last week - just curious how quickly the paper documents are being sent out/received.

I received mine yesterday (9th February), so only a couple of working days after my status changed.

RFE was for a statement from my husband about why he didn't file taxes last year, proof of our joint sponsor's US citizenship, and I forgot to fill out my husband's SSN on one of the forms...

Hey guys,

AOS January filer here

I sent my EAD application 2 weeks after the AOS. So i got 2 separate biometrics appointments. Is the second one necessary or could I call DHS and have them use the first one for the EAD as well.

By the way, the biometrics was for all 10 fingers, pictures and signature.

Hi fellow January 2015 AOS Filers.

Sent our I-485 packet on Jan. 12,2015 and i'm done with Biometrics today,

Feb.10 at Naperville. I arrived 30 mins earlier and it took only less than 10 minutes

to do the Biometrics.

It is an option within your profile. Go to your profile and click the "Edit my profile" button. There is a Signature tab where you can add a signature to your posts.
